I’ve been craving the pink box from Althea Korea for so long. I was apply on Althea Angel’s but there’s no good response yet. Maybe Althea Korea haven’t re-opened the registration again. I’m so excited ! Really excited when I receive this pink box a weeks ago. I got a lot of Althea Korea original product and have a chance to try it by myself. Petal velvet powder – IDR 60k (3gr)

Looking for a soft loose powder with smooth finish? I think petal velvet powder will suitable with your need. This powder can be a set makeup withsilky or smooth finish. Infused with oil from Althea seeds, this powder works to keep sebum production at bay without drying out the skin for a radiant, fresh look, all while giving out a gentle scent. Texture of this powder is very soft, easy to absorb in our skin and not ashy at all. I think, this powder with fit for you who have a oily skin and trouble with sebum. I Rate it 5/5 !

How to use

As a setting make up, you can apply this powder under your eye, a little bit on your cheeks and forehead. If you want to use this product as a sebum powder, you can put a little bit powder into your T-Zone (forehead,nose area, and near your cheeks). You can apply this powder again 2-3 hours after, to reduce the sebum production. So easy right?

Shade availability

Petal velvet powder is available in 2 shade #0 Translucent and #23 Warm Beige colors. So, if want to use this powder as a setting make up and sebum powder, I suggest #0 Translucent.

Packaging

I can’t lie, I love the packaging so much – super mini, super light, easy to bring anywhere and super cute with baby pink color. I love the puff too, because it’s super soft. Also, the powder package is thick enough, not easily to broke.

Skin Relief Spot Film Gel – IDR 65k (15ml)

Have a lot of schedule, but acnes can be cooperative with you? Ugh ! Don’t worry babe. You can put the make up normally and keep your acnes safely. Why I said that? I know, we need to say goodbye for a while with make up if acnes hit our face brutally. But now, Althea will help you with skin relief spot film gel. This gel will hide and keep your acne sterile from make up without being seen. Your facial skin still look smooth and there’s no redness from acnes will show up.

This zit-zapping treatment is a revolutionary formula that applies thinly onto the skin before drying down to a smooth canvas, protecting the area and allowing for makeup to be applied on without a trace. How to use

Use this gel super simple, just put one drop of this gel on your finger and flatten it in some area (with acnes). Wait 1-2 minutes to dry perfectly and put the make up as usual. Just be careful to using a brush around the acnes area, to keep it smooth and perfect.

Packaging

Talk about the packaging, this spot film gel super light and slim. I like the way Althea Korea create the small tip. So, I can adjust the gel that will comes out. Other than that, this spot film gel easy to bring or put it anywhere.

Flawless Creamy Concealer – IDR 56k (6gr)

Have some flaws in my face, like uneven skin, dark circle, and redness, requires me to use a concealer all the time, to get a flawless skin. So, when Althea Korea sent me 4 shade of their flawless creamy concealer, I was speechless. Texture of this concealer is creamy enough but not too fluid. Because of it, to blend and flatten this concealer you’ll takes a more time to get the smooth finish and not look ashy. This buildable formula is made with Aquaxyl to moisturize and improve the overall health of the skin, while its long-wearing properties ensure it stays on your face all day. I admit, this concealer has a satin finish and can blend perfectly.But, I expect this creamy concealer can be more fluid. But, it’s okay, this concealer can hydrating my facial skin well, even tho the moisturizer not too high.I Rate it 4/5.

How to use

Put the concealer not too thick on your under eyes, redness or darker area on your face. Then, you need to blend it soft and slowly. You just need to tap tap with beauty blender, until the concealer blend and absorb perfectly before you put any powder above it. If you concealer or foundation doesn’t blend perfectly, your make up can’t be look flawless.

Shade availability

Flawless creamy concealer available in 4 shade #01 Vanilla, #02 Ginger, #03 Honey and #04 Mocha. Choose the concealer according to the color of your undertone. Well, the shade concealer that suitable with my skin is #02 Ginger and then, I can use the #04 Mocha shade as shading on my cheeks.

Packaging

There’s nothing special with the package. Just same as another brand concealer. But, I like the applicator because Althea Korea create it like a lip applicator with tilted edges on the tip. So, we can easily to flatten the cream. Good job !

Water Color Cream Tint – IDR 71k (4.5ml)

Honestly, I’m not cream tint person. I always use water tint like everyday ! But, after I tried water color cream tint from Althea Korea, I need to re-think once again. The texture of this cream tint super soft, fluid like a water, super pigmented, last up to 3hrs, glossy finish, not that sticky ( I still can found the sticky sensation, but not too much), good moisturizing, light-wearing and easy to flatten. I like the smell btw, just like a fruity juice. This water color tint, contain hyaluronic acid and squalene to prevent chapped lips from flaking, perfect for stashing in your purse for easy touch-ups and comfortable wear. The thing that I didn’t like from this tint is hard to remove. Even tho, I wipe it with the lip remover many time, but the based color can’t fade away easily. I Rate it 4/5.

How to use

I give you 2 suggestion to apply this water-color tint. First – HALF LIPS, you just need to apply the water color tint on the inner lips (over and under lips). Then, you need to flatten it with your finger untilthe colors are mixed into all parts of the lips. The finish will look a like a ombre lips or Korean natural lips. Second, FULL LIP, you just need to apply the tint fully around of you lips. Don’t put the cream to thick, to avoid the transfer effect and feeling heavy.

Shade availability

Water color creamy tint is available in 4 shade #01 Plum Cream (fresh red cherry color), #02 Strawberry Cream (mixed red and orange color), #03 Peach Cream (peach color natural lips) and #04 Marron Cream (dark pink nude color). Which the color that I like? Ofc, #01 Plum red ! My lips look so fresh and still BOLD ~

Packaging

The packaging of this water color tint super simple and we can see the color of the tint from outside. So, we can choose the color easily right? Althea Korea create the tube from a heavy plastic. That’s why you’ll feel heavy when lift it up. It’s okay, the cream tint tube isn’t easy to broken. Other that that, the applicator of it super soft and complete withtilted edges on the tip.

Spotlight Eye Glitter – IDR 84k (4.5ml)

Korean make up is identically with natural eye glitter effect. Moreover, in Korea will be in Spring season, really soon. I bet in my Instagram or Youtube explore will full with natural fresh Korean makeup for spring. That’s why, you need to know if Althea Korea has spotlight eye glitter special for you who wants to create a natural Korean looks, soon.This sparkly number doubles up as both an eyeshadow and a liner to light up the eyes for some perky, glamorous peepers. Whether you like a subtle glow or a full-on glitter look, these have a hydrating formula that glides on like butter over the lids, allowing for an easy blend. Honestly, I’m not expert to applying a liquid glitter as a eyeshadow or eyeliner, but texture of this highlighter super liquid, light, not patchy and easy to flatten. I Rate it 4/5.

How to use

I prefer to use thiseye glitter as a liner. So, I pull the line from the inner eye to the middle and DONE ! (See the picture below). The line looks perfect and you can see the glitter is shining. It’s not hard to draw a liner with it, the applicator is thin enough and the texture is liquid enough. If you want to use it as eyeshadow, you need to applying with small eyeshadow brush to get the maximal result. Don’t worry the gel is quick to dry but doesn’t leave any dry feeling in your eyes.

Shade availability

Spotlight Eye Glitter is available in 2 shade #01 Gold Light and #02 Pink light. Don’t be confused with Gold light shade, it seems like a silver/white glitter from outside but after you swatch it, the color that comes up is 100% Gold.

Packaging

The packaging like a pen, slim and tall. We can see the glitter from the out side and the applicator is thin/soft enough. Overall, there’s no bad design from spotlight eye glitter. The tube super light and easy to bring/put it anywhere.

Eye Palette Sunrise & Moonrise BCL x Althea – IDR 490k (15,5gr)

I always craving for the best eyeshadow palette with affordable price. Yeah, I know this one is not cheap enough, but I can said “beyond my expectation”. Mostly, a beauty product which is bring a big name of artist, doesn’t have a good quality. I know, not all of them but mostly. First time I look at this eyeshadow palette, I was amazed. The 8 shade is pretty and I like all color inside of this palette. Look so elegant, fresh and suitable for any occasion. But again, I didn’t think the pigmentation will be good. Well, after I swatch it, I’m speechless. This eyeshadow palette has a very good pigmentation ! Moreover, the glitter and shimmer is perfect, easy to flatten, apply and blending. Even tho, texture of it not buttery at all, but the pigmentation is no doubt. I Rate it 5/5 – I used it everyday.

How to use

There’s no specific guide to apply this eyeshadow, you can doaccording to your habits. But for me, Iusually use the #05 (shimmery dark brown) as a crease and outer, then I apply #04 (gold glittery) to all over my eyelid. Last, I apply #01 (shimmery white) to my inner corner. DONE ! I didn’t use any color for everyday look. I like something natural and still look fresh.

Shade availability

There’s no specific name for the 8 beautiful shade. BCL x Althea just give the number of each the color. It’s okay for me, as long as the pigmentation is so good, I don’t really care with the name of it. Btw, look at the picture bellow ! I just swatch it once with my finger for each color and you can see? The color pigmentation and intensity is perfect ! I can’t lie, this is the one of best eyeshadow palette that I ever used.

Packaging

Outer packing (paper box) is very beautiful with flower detail, I can feel the freshness inside of the box. The design is simple but still elegant. The size of eyeshadow palette is not too big (medium), so easy to put it everywhere. Fyi, the box of this eyeshadow palette is hard and heavy enough, it’ll keep the eyeshadow still safe, when the box falling. But, I don’t think if the box will not broken.
