Heyho, Oily x acne combination skin check !
As a person who have super oily skin and some acne problem. So, I need to pay more attention on all skin care that I use. Moreover, my skin super sensitive too. That’s why, start from 3-4 years ago, Ichoose bioderma as one of my skincare. In that time, Bioderma was famous with their Sensibioseries (pink packaging) for sensitive skin.I consistently use Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar water and Gel Moussantfor 3 years back. In fact, those skin care can help me to reduce any redness, breakout or purging effect. Their products doesn’t contain any harmful ingredients like alcohol or retinol.
Lately, my skin in a bad condition – super dry (peeling skin are visible), super oily, blackhead and acne is everywhere, and my skin look so dull. This such condition is continue until I try some of green packaging skin care from Bioderma. Yap ! the green one is Sebium series, which is good for oily combination skin and acne problem. I got those package from ClozetteID and Bioderma Indonesia, this is my short review in step by step :
Step 1 – Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water
This is the first andonly dermatological micellar water that perfectly suitable with sensitive Fatty acid esters, the constituent elements of micelle that similar withphospholipids of the skin cell membranes and. Can help torebuild the skin’s hydrolipidic film naturally. Moreover, this is a soap-free which work effectively as a micro-emulsion of impurities while maintaining skin pH balance. This micellar water can also removing any lip and eye make up non water-proof. I think, it’s hard enough to removing waterproof make up with this micellar water. Need enough time to get a perfect cleansing.
How to use?
- Soak a cotton pad with Sensibio H2O.
- Gently cleanse and remove make-up from your face and eyes.
- Re-apply until the cotton pad becomes clean.
To get a perfectly clean face, you need 2-3 cotton pad (without lip and eyes area) and if you use any waterproof make up, you need to remove it with another lip and eye remover. There’s no oil contain inside, that’s why Bioderma sensibio can’t remove any waterproof make up perfectly.Will it feel sticky after cleansing?No at all. But, we still need too finishing our cleansing step with facial foam.
It is safe for sensitive skin? yes, of course. Bioderma sensibio H2O doesn’t contain any harmful ingredients for sensitive skin like oil, alcohol, or paraben. This micellar water is water based and give you a moist feeling after that.

Step 2 – Bioderma SebiumGel Moussant
A water-soluble gel cleanser, that’s good for normal, oily or combination skin. So, normal skin can use this product too. Texture of this gel moussant is super soft (not too sticky) and soap or detergent-free. The formulas inside of it, is very gentle to remove all type of make up including water-proof without leaving any residue. In fact, after you used this gel moussant, your skin feeling so fresh, moist, super soft, tight, and supple. Moreover, this cleansing gel can controlling your sebum production.
How to use?
- Pour enough the gel moussant in to your palm.
- Pour a little water then rub it in your hands until a little foams comes up.
- Apply into your face and rub it all over your face and neck too.
- Rinse it, until your skin doesn’t feel slippery.
To get a perfect clean skin, you need to removing your make up first using a micellar water. If you have any big pores, please use micellar water first, to prevent any make up left on the pores which causes blackheads and acne. Use a tissue than a face towel when you drying the face.

Step 3 – Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water
A Cleansing liquid and makeup remover that will purify combination skin or oily skin. Sbium H2O is the first micellar liquid remover makeup for combination or oily skin that resembles the natural composition of the skin in order to completely remove residual makeup without damaging even the most sensitive skin. The formulas of complex fluidingredient Fluidactiv which can repair sebo in the skin and the biologically material will improve the quality of sebum. So, the skin pores are not blocked and the skin becomes clean perfectly. This micellar water is also enriched with cleansing ingredients, zinc gluconate and copper sulfate, Sbium H2O purifies the skin and restrains the rate of sebaceous secretion.
How to use?
- Soak a cotton pad with Sebium H2O Micellar water.
- Rub all over the face slowly,untilnoyellow stains is visible.
- Repeat on the t-zone to maximize sebum control.
Personally, I love this micellar water so much. In fact, after you use this micellar water, your skin feels so fresh, clean, supple, and smooth. This micellar water can help our skin to control any sebum for 3-4 hrs. Why I didn’t use this micellar water on first step?My skin is sensitive, so I use Sensibio micellar water for removing makeup.
